Ludlow's Board of Registrars has oversight over residency, and on Thursday they reviewed the report from a private investigator hired by a concerned parent. The private eye followed Oliveira's every move for 2 and a half weeks.The report claims he works in Boston, and pays rent in Framingham.

Investigators also claim his residence on Guertin Avenue in Ludlow is actually his parents home. They say his car was rarely in the driveway. After reviewing those details, the board of registrars decided to launch its own investigation.

"By reading the evidence set before us there was enough documentation that we decided to go forward, " adds Gibbons.

LUDLOW - The Board of Registrars plans to determine if a complaint challenging the residency of School Committee member Jacob R. Oliveira merits further investigation, Town Clerk Laurie Gibbons said.
